MODERN DUTCH | SINCE 2010

  

In april 2010 we started WILDE ZWIJNEN in Amsterdam. Since then we are rediscovering the Dutch kitchen. We use products from back in the days and modern ones, we cook in the season with products of small and bigger farmers, and try to use products from the region as much as possible.

OPENING TIMES DINNER & LUNCH

Dinner: open daily from 18:00. Lunch: open Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 12.00 - 16.00. 

 

RESERVATION

Current Dutch rules allow us to open inside and outside. On our big terrace there is (sun)shade, big parasols, heaters and warm blankets. Please make your reservation via the button "reserveren" underneath. You are not obliged to make a reservation, but it will secures you of a table. We request a deposit of 10 Euro per person payable via Ideal/Credit card. 

 

MENU

We serve a 3 or 4 course menu for 39,00 and 45,00. Choose the chefs menu, or vegetarian, and please let us know if there are any allergies. You can add oysters/small bites, a Dutch cheese platter and or bread butter. Or menu changes regularly, here's an impression:

  • Starter: fish Pintail squid | potato | crab mayonnaise | herring caviar | turnip greens | Dutch soy vinaigrette, or vegetarian Osdorp tomatoes | tomato granita | parsley oil | sourdough croutons
  • Extra dish (optional): Zucchini flour | goat cheese | hazelnut | zucchini
  • Main: meat Duck breast | duck stew | beetroot | shallot, or fish: Cod | black barley in ink | razor shell | cockle shell | biscuit | sea lavender.
  • Dessert: Asparagus ice cream | strawberries and mousse | rhubarb | white chocolate tuille, or Roasted barley ice cream | whipped ricotta | apricot | pickled lemon.
